How to register your school for Modern School Portraits with Hunnicutt Photography
I love being introduced to new school communities and meeting to see if we are a great fit for school portrait sessions.
Step One: Phone Or Zoom Call
When school leaders initially contact me to discuss working together, we first plan a phone or zoom call. This is a great chance to discuss my philosophy and style of modern school portraits, and my extensive background working with children of all ages. In addition, I review important points like learning about the size of your school population, and that I already have a PPS background check as a parent volunteer.
Step Two: On Site Visit
After that meeting we’ll have an on-site school visit to check out the space. This ensures that I have a good primary location for photos to take place, as well as a backup location…it’s always important to be flexible in the school setting for me as an outside vendor.
Step Three: Schedule Picture Day
After the onsite visit I’ll send the school director a link to a booking/scheduling page for school picture day.
On the booking/scheduling page you will select the dates for your school’s photo days. We will previously have discussed how many days your student population requires for picture days to be completed.
Next, schools will review the school/photographer agreement, upload your school logo (if needed for any materials worked on by the photographer such as a group class photo collage), and then complete a questionnaire detailing your school’s specific needs and wants. Then, prior to photo day school staff will upload your school roster to the website as well.
Step Four: Prepare For Photo Day
Prior to picture day the photographer will provide a website landing page and personalized flier for schools to distribute to families to help everyone prepare for photo day. Tips for teachers regarding staff headshots, and how teachers can assist on picture day are also included. In addition, schools will be provided with a customized printable poster to display for families to gain access to school picture day information.
