Urban Engagement Session
Engagement Photographs
It's interesting to think back on, but I recall that my husband (then fiancé) and I did not schedule an engagement photo session prior to our wedding. I LOVE how our wedding photographs turned out, but I do regret that we don't have images of us exploring and having fun in downtown Philadelphia, which is where I lived at the time (It's such an amazing place, if you've never been you must add it to your wish-list of cities to visit in the US). When reminiscing, I have strong and vivid memories of this time of our life, the excitement and craziness of planning a wedding, finishing graduate school, and enjoying the dreams of our family that we were building together in the present and the future. If we had engagement photographs to celebrate that time, they would be a cherished possession for us and our children.
Taiwan Engagement Session
When you're living as an expat overseas, you have so much that you would want to capture in photographs to share with your family and friends back in your home country, as well as memories for yourself to be able to look back on when you no longer live abroad.
Now, add to that an engagement! Even more reason to have special photographs taken with the one you love!
I had the pleasure of spending an unseasonably cool November morning with two amazing women and their Taiwanese puppy Juniper, exploring downtown Taichung, Taiwan. Learning about what brings people overseas, the work they are doing, and what they miss from home is really an interesting part of expat life. And, I thoroughly enjoyed our morning together hearing about how this couple met, what their plans are for their future here in Taiwan, as well as back in their home country of the United States.
As you can see, this is an amazing and fun couple with a bright and happy future ahead for them.
Congratulations Hannah and Tabb! I wish you the best of luck this year as your wedding approaches, and in your married life together.
p.s. I think that this last collage would look AWESOME hanging HUGE in their home? Do you all agree? Let me know in the comments what you think!
