Ohio Outdoor Lifestyle Family Photo Session

As an expat living overseas I do not get the opportunity to photograph my extended family often enough!! It has been two long years since I've photographed my sister and her beautiful family! And, even after a long weekend of enjoying Great Wolf Lodge together and a crazy few hours drive through torrential downpours with hail, they were super excited to get their family photos taken.

We decided to take their photos on the grounds of my brother-in-law's Mother's home, because, well, first off it's gorgeous there, and secondly it holds many memories for this four-some. We quickly did their session while dodging raindrops and cracking crazy jokes, and I loved every minute of it. It was also special as my daughters were able to see me 'working' which was quite a treat too! They experience being behind my lens quite often, but are never my 'assistants', and they did a wonderful job.

They hugged, swung, twirled, tossed, tickled and ran their way through this session, and I love how cozy it turned out. We were able to get the full session complete right before a complete downpour too!! I love you guys and can't wait for your next photo session, I mean.... our next get together!!
